Welcome to our website.
Our schools are headed by International Instructor Mr Mark Boydell 5th Degree Blackbelt who teaches at all 4 schools with his team of fully qualified Instructors. All classes are taught in a safe, friendly and professional manner.
Age specific classes are available for children from 4 years old right through to mature adults. Classes are suitable for people of all abilities and levels of fitness.
Our promise to our students, is that we will do our very best to help you attain the coveted Blackbelt. |

Viking Cup - Results
Well done to Mr Greg Spark, Mr Liam Bain and Miss Katrina Carr who competed in the 2012 Viking Cup in Sweden.
Miss Katrina Carr competing in Patterns won through to the second round beating a very good Polish girl 5– 0. In the second round she was beaten by the current European Champion from Ireland 3 - 1 - 1 a great result for Katrina and a great experience.
Mr Greg Spark also won through to the second round against a Swedish competitor in a close first round but came un-done against a Polish competitor in the second round, a good encouraging performance! Sparring, Mr Spark found himself in a combined weight division –70kg & +70kg and in his pool were 2 Polish competitors who both made the final. However Mr Spark fought hard against 2 very good competitors one of which made Mr Spark look very small!
Mr Liam Bain had a first round exit in the Patterns again! However in sparring Mr Bain, like Mr Spark had to fight in a combined weight division of –58kg (Mr Bains div.) & -63kg, he successfully fought his way into the semi finals beating some very accomplished fighters but finally succumbed to the eventual winner of the group. |

2nd June - UK-TKD Goodwill Scottish Championship, Edinburgh.
16th June - NTA Blackbelt Pre-test All candidates who wish to pre-test must submit their thesis before 25th May.
23rd June - ITF Scottish Championships, Motherwell. |

2012 World Cup - Brighton, 2-7th Oct
Those interested in competing at the World Cup later this year should contact Mr Boydell for details before 20th May. Should we get sufficient numbers from NTA then we will look into arranging a Coach for travel.
This competition promises to be the largest ever ITF Taekwon-Do in history!
